The Hollow Kingdom

A fantasy book beyond no other, written by Clare B. Dunkle. Two sisters are about to have a journey of a lifetime. They are both elves, even though they don't know it, and the Goblin King, wants to take one of them as his bride. To find out if she becomes the Goblin King's queen, then read the book.

This book is the perfect type of book for me. It is filled with love, enchantment, and adventure. I loved reading this so much that I read the other two books in the series.

The Midnight Library Blood and Sand

Three freakishly scary stories by Damien Graves, that will make your skin crawl. These creepy stories are all wrapped into one incredible book. One of the stories involves a brother and sister on vacation. They run into a sand sculptor whose creations are more real than they should be. To find what the other stories entail, you will have to read the book yourself.
I loved reading this unusually scary book. With all of the unique and unusual events that pop out at you, this book could have someone screaming before they finish the first story. This book was so creepy, that I didn't want to put it down.

So B. It

A beautiful story, written by the brilliant author Sarah Weeks, that tells of a young girl who just wants to find out who she really is. Heidi, the main character of the story, has a mentally retarded mother who can only say a few simple words. Heidi doesn't know anything about her past, except what her agoraphobic friend, and neighbor, has told her. So, she goes all the way to Reno, Nevada to find herself. In order to find out if she does or not, then you'll just have to go read the book.

When I read this book, it seemed as if it was simple, but the story itself is actually complex. I loved reading it. The mystery, the suspense, the sadness. Of all the books that I have read, I think that this is the only one that made me cry.

A Painted House

It is a book, by author John Grisham, that sucks the reader in. It is about a seven-year-old farm boy from Arkansas. With a hard cotton harvest to worry about, somehow there are still so many unique adventures that make the reader not want to put the book down. With unanounced twists and turns within the story, this book is one to keep on your reading list.

I loved reading this book. It reminded me of all the hard times in life, and how no matter what, there are still things to look forward to. The boy in this story had very little, yet made the best out of what he had.

Message in a Bottle

This beloved book by Nicholas Sparks, is one of love and tradgedy. Theresa Osborne, the main character, finds a bottle with a love letter inside. She then prints it in the paper that she helps write. Curiosity ends up getting the better of her, after she gets two more letters, and she goes out and tries to find the man who wrote them. In order to find out the rest, you'll have to go read the book yourself.

I was head over heals after reading this romantic book. It was written with love and loss on almost every page. I never wanted to put the book down because I wanted to know how it would all end. This has to be one of the best books ever.
